A: Collaboration of adhesive interactions of CD40L with CD40 and of interferon γ (IFN-γ) in TF induction in monocytes is of relevance for the delayed-type hypersensitivity reaction. B: Endothelial cell-monocyte interactions support reciprocal sensitization for TF induction in endothelial cells by IL-1β or in monocytes by LPS.
