Description: Isolate was obtained using R2A medium at 27?řC for 7 days. The original source is an established biofilm attached on the surface of a PVC coupon incubated in a CDC reactor receiving water from a chloraminated drinking water distribution system simulator. The sample was collected after an episode of nitrification and followed by a ??chlorine burn?? (i.e. switching disinfectant from chloramine to chlorine).
