Whole genome sequencing at JGI-PGF
This first version of the project has a partial genome of one Leptospirillum group II species ... that dominates a biofilm collected from the UBA location of the Richmond Mine acid mine drainage site, Iron Mountain, near Redding CA. The contigs were assembled in a single genomic path, thus strain variation is not evident. Annotation is on the scaffolds. Manual assembly by J. Banfield. Manual curation of ORFs by D. Goltsman and V. Denef.  more
