The NCBI Handbook is on the Bookshelf NCBI now offers a handbook available in electronic form in the NCBI Books database. The handbook is geared towards people who want to get the most from the NCBI webpages or who want a detailed introduction to NCBI resources with extensive links to help documentation. The 23 chapters of the NCBI Handbook, organized into four sections, cover topics ranging from the processing of sequence submissions to the assembly of the human genome.
