COMMENT     Enterococcus faecium E1162 was isolated from a bloodstream
            infection of a hospitalized patient in 1997 in France. This strain
            has MLST sequence type (ST) 17 and carries the esp gene. DNA and
            bacteria can be obtained from Dr. Rob Willems and Dr. Willem van
