Comments and References:

Synonymy (Diaporthe eres = Diaporthe conorum)
Wehmeyer (Univ. Michigan Stud., Sci. Ser. 9: 70, 1933) considered Diaporthe conorum to be a syonym of Diaporthe eres. However, Kobayashi (Bull. Gov. Forest Exp. Sta. 226:71. 1970) preferred that they be maintained as distinct species.
