Thaxteriella amazonensis (=Tubeufia amazonensis)
Tsui et al. (2006) found Thaxteriella amazonensis grouping in the same clade as the type species of Tubeufia. This suggest that the basionym, Tubeufia amazonensis, may be appropriate for this taxon.
