1. How do I cite a Coffee Break article?
Coffee Break articles are assigned a reference number, which appears in the upper right corner of each article. When citing an article, please include the title of the article, the online publication name (NCBI Coffee Break), the article reference number, and the date.
For example: "Plant genes contribute to a sexually transmitted disease? NCBI Coffee Break CB1.150799, 15 July 1999."
You may also want to include the URL for the article.

2. Who writes the Coffee Break articles?
Currently, all Coffee Breaks are written by NCBI staff. The figure that accompanies each article is frequently supplied by an expert external to NCBI, in which case the source of the figure is cited. Suggestions for Coffee Break articles are welcome and can be sent to info@ncbi.nlm.nih.gov.

3. How frequently will Coffee Breaks appear?
We aim to deliver a new Coffee Break every two weeks, which will be featured on the Coffee Break homepage. A brief description of the upcoming story can also be found on this page, as well as a link to the archives.
