Course Developers

This eight-hour MLA CE course was originally proposed on June 3, 1996 to the MLA'96 CE committee, and developed for the MLA'97 annual meeting in Seattle, WA by Janet Morrison and Renata McCarthy Geer.

Subsequent revisions to the course design and materials have been each time it has been presented, in order to accommodate the increasing number of resources as they become available.

The course web site was developed in Sept. 1999 by Renata Geer to replace the hard copy of the manual, and facilitate access by current and previous course participants to regularly updated materials.
