Levels of Service

Librarians can provide various levels of service, based on their experience, amount of time allotted for supporting molecular biology databases, the needs of their clientele, and demand.
  • Level 1: Resource Awareness and Data Retrieval

  • Level 2: Basic Sequence Similarity Searching

  • Level 3: Advanced Sequence Similarity Searching
    and Other Types of Sequence Analysis

  • Level 4: Support for Commercial Packages
