Use this form to generate a page of FASTA-formatted sequences derived from the upstream regulatory regions of Saccharomyces cerevisiae genes. First, choose the genes whose sequences you are interested in. The pulldown menu allows you to select all Saccharomyces cerevisiae genes, or the cell cycle regulated Saccharomyces cerevisiae genes described in the manuscripts by Cho et al. (1998) and Spellman et al. (1998) Alternatively, you can type your own list of Saccharomyces cerevisiae genes in the text box. Second, choose the length of upstream sequence to display. All sequences have the same orientation; the ATG start codon would be the next three nucleotides.
Gene names, locations, and titles are from the June 23, 1999 release of SGD. A few of the genes predicted to be cell cycle-regulated by Cho et al. or Spellman et al. are no longer annotated by SGD.
