This database is a catalog of genes, inherited disorders, and traits in animal species other than human and mouse authored by Professor Frank Nicholas of the University of Sydney, Australia.

This database is a catalog of human genes and genetic disorders authored and edited by Dr. Victor A. McKusick and his colleagues at Johns Hopkins and elsewhere and developed for the Web by NCBI. While you can still search this database on the NCBI site, the data and OMIM website are currently being hosted at omim.org.
